Meditation Techniques
While meditation might sound like something that everyone can do in just a few simple minutes, the honest truth is that there is more to it than just sitting in a quiet space with your hands on your knees and saying “Om”.
When you start to learn to meditate you may wish to look for an experienced teacher or group to help you understand all of the steps to mediating.
Sitting there and closing your eyes and just hoping it will work will lead to no where and feeling frustrated with the practice all together. Once you have an understanding of the steps taken with each form of meditation and know which is right for you and your personality then you will see the results so many rave about.
Here is a technique for you to try on your own.

The next Sabbat on the Wheel of the Year is Yule.
This Sabbat is one of the four Lesser Sabbats or Quarter ceremonies. The Lesser Sabbats contain the Solstices and Equinoxes representing the astronomical beginnings of the seasons. With these Sabbats the dates may vary by a day or two each year. This would be due to the fact that they depend upon the sun’s entry into the zodiacal signs.
Yule marks the longest night of the year. It is during this Sabbat that we honor the Goddess for giving birth to the sun once more. It is the time when the Oak King is victorious over the Holly King. The Holly King represents death and darkness that has ruled since Samhain, and the Oak King represents rebirth and life.
Yule is a time when we do rituals to celebrate the increasing daylight, to renew, and to see the world through the eyes of a child. Spells done during Yule tend to raise our spirits, bring harmony, peace, and joy. During Yule we see the wisdom in our past experiences, learning from them and beginning to feel reborn as new light guides us further down the path we have chosen.
Yule is celebrated on December 21-22

Generally speaking, the Tarot is viewed by many as a fixed system. This means every deck will typically be the same 78 cards, 22 Major Arcana, 56 Minor Arcana, with the same type of meaning to each card.
In my studies and in my own decks I have found that though the meanings generally applies from deck to deck not all Tarot decks will have the same names of Major Arcana or suits for the Minor Arcana.

Upright: Communication, Confidence, Control, Creativity, Inspired Action, Intelligence, Manifestation, Power, Resourcefulness, Skillful, Willpower, Wisdom
Reversed: Beware of Self-doubt, Careless, Deceit, Manipulation, Poor Planning, Untapped Talents
